Went to Philbrook Museum on Friday.
Saw the million dollar rhinoceros horn carvings. Beautiful objects! Many wonderful paintings and things.

Outside was beautiful too. Two hours, $9 and I feel alive again. : ) It's so necessary to enjoy life.

I LOVE this place! Why is the ocean tan? Why all the weird fish? What is up with the noses on the dolphins? I think it is all hand-painted too, so why make it look like wallpaper?

Made by the Royal Metal Manufacturing Co. then sold too The Sylvan Printing and Stationery Co. apparently, if the stickers on the chair are to be trusted. Both companies are still in business! One since 1897, the other since 1933, I think.

I got it for free! One family often sits things out on the curb with a "free" sign.

I love marigolds. Even the pungent smell of them I've grown to enjoy. I used to believe they were a boring flower, and got them because they were cheap. They are strong and long lasting with many colors.

Thought it would stop traffic, but we got by, so I could make my turn 10' past that.

We got new chairs!
We hated our couch. We both wanted a comfortable place to sit. Which is hard to agree on with one short and one tall person.
Like our former apartment, we each got our own chair to sit in.
